About us

Your boiler - safe in our hands

At Taking Care of Boilers we provided affordable and reliable heating, plumbing and gas services in Wiltshire and surrounding areas for over 20 years.

Taking Care of Boilers started as Manor heating and Plumbing in the early 90s, by Tim Clarke.  Growing up on a farm and being practical, Tim qualified as a plumber. He then went on to set up his own business, repairing and maintaining boilers and heating systems, and was soon handling around 150 breakdowns a week. He was then headhunted by HomeServe, who we have worked with since, to provide subcontracted services for their customers.

Taking Care of Boilers was named after Tim took a road trip to the US and visited the home of the late, great Elvis Presley. Seeing his credo, Taking Care of Business, it dawned on him that Taking Care of Boilers was the perfect name for the company. After all, he had been doing it day in, day out for almost 15 years.
